SUMMARY OF QT QUEENSTOWN
Upon arrival at QT Queenstown, we were greeted by welcoming and friendly staff in the lobby which were able to swiftly and efficiently check us in and provided us with information and locations of the hotel facilities and other activities available in Queenstown. We were then escorted to our ‘Remarkable King’ room situated on level 10.
Upon entering the “Remarkable King” room, we were greeted with breath-taking views of Lake Wakatipu, house-made dessert sweets and a bottle of chilled champagne to settle in.
The spaciously friendly room features a comfy king bed, modern bathroom showing off a very deep relaxing bath and plenty of goodies in the minibar to indulge in whilst keeping entertained with modern amenities/Appliances.
Situated on Level 6, you will find Reds Bar and Bazaar Restaurant.
Once you get your priorities in check with starting your evening at Reds Bar, start off by ordering one of their Signature cocktails before moving onto the Classics.
Once you’re warmed up and ready for dinner, walk across the hallway to Bazaar Restaurant and enjoy a sensory experience with their interactive buffet, spanning many different cuisines while kitchen staff can help you with any dietary requirements.
Breakfast is a must the following morning.
The QT hotel is in a prime location on the waterfront in Queenstown, only a short 10-minute walk into the heart of town. There are endless attractions and restaurants to visit in this beautiful town. We would recommend taking the skyline gondola up the mountain to view Lake Wakatipu, it is truly breath-taking. While you’re up there a must-do is taking a thrill ride on The Luge. Suitable for all ages, you will feel like a child again on this ride while taking in the incredible views of The Remarkable’s and surrounding mountains.
Another thrill-seeking activity, not for the faint-hearted is the giant swing. Only a short bus drive from Queenstown to the Shotover the crew will pump you up before stepping off a 109m high cliff where you will feel a rush of adrenaline.
