HERE ARE SOME AWESOME THINGS TO DO!

In life, it’s not where you go, it’s who you travel with

Honeymoon! The best month for every couple. Our first stop was Dubai and in this post, we will show you how much you can explore in 3 days in Dubai.

Dubai is most certainly not located within a Third World country. In fact, Dubai is one of the richest nations in the world, due in large part to its vast oil resources. Dubai audacious architecture, spectacular skylines, fashion and nightlife, flourishing contemporary art scene… and of course, amazing weather and beaches.

Burj Al Arab Jumeirah

The famous Burj Al Arab Jumeirah hotel is the building which every traveller to Dubai wants to see. If you are not staying there the best view you get from Jumeirah Beach

If you are in this area, there is a great loungy spot to go for lunch called The Cove beach Dubai. It is an amazing place to rest from the heat!

SOUK MADINAT JUMEIRAH

Fantastic take on the old markets – really makes you feel like you are back in time once you get inside… very pretty to walk around too!

BURJ KHALIFA

Contrary to rumours, Dubai has more to offer than we expected. Yes it doesn’t have the Eiffel Tower or the Colosseum of Rome, but it has the biggest skyscraper on the planet (an innovative piece of architecture) and that’s pretty amazing too.

… it’s the time to turn lights on!

Sheraton Mall of Emirates

We stayed in an amazing and elegant hotel Sheraton Mall of Emirates and our room had spectacular views for the whole of Dubai! So impressive.

SHEIKH ZAYED MOSQUE

Sheikh Zayed Mosque is considered one of the most beautiful mosques in the whole world. So we decided to spend one day visiting Abu Dhabi.

The excursion was organised through the hotel. They have picked us up early in the morning, and we went for our day excursion to visit the stunning mosque and a few other things on the way.

The mosque is breathtaking and we have learned so much about the culture. Abu Dhabi itself we found quite similar to Dubai. Beautiful viewpoints.

…and the view from the beach in Heritage village for the city of Abu Dhabi.

We thought that Dubai is a very warm and romantic city, especially at night. This could be explained because it was the first stop of our honeymoon, but now we can also say that it is a beautiful city to walk around. Everything in Dubai is so impressive, from amazing MALLS to the beautiful fountain shows. It is hard to find another place like this, where you have a gigantic aquarium in the centre of the shopping mall!

THE DUBAI FOUNTAIN

The Dubai Fountain is the world’s tallest performing fountain. The Dubai Fountain is situated on the 30-acre Burj Lake and performs to a selection of different melodies. The fountain performs to a range of different songs from classical to contemporary Arabic and world music. When operational, the fountain has over 100,000 litres of water in the air at any given moment

Half day desert experience and dune bashing

When we were researching about attractions of Dubai, one of the interesting options we came across was dune bashing in the desert together with sunset dinner in the middle of the desert. What a great experience…

Dubai was a lovely city to meet.  We enjoyed it to be our first honeymoon stop. We will be back … 100%
